Rana made the sole rule on Nepal for some period of time after the uniting Nepal from Prithvi Narayan Shah. Nepal lost in the darkness for around 100 years with them.Despite of obstruction in the development of a country and society by Rana, there is history of development of transportation, economic and educational in Kathmandu Valley for the sake of the Rana’s personal and family welfare As per the self-interest of them, they made the construction of road way. Though they did not made the road way outside the Kathmandu Valley, they made lots of roadways inside the Kathmandu Valley for their transportation facility. The vehicles were used to be carried by porters from Hetauda and brought up-to the Kathmandu.
